"We have always loved this wine, crisp, dry and refreshing but with enough stuffing & fruit to make it super gluggable" - Wine Direct
"A great example of Soave showing bold aromas of stone fruit and citrus, with grilled nuts, marzipan and spice. The palate is mouth filling with a bold fruit signature and a hint of minerality. It’s full of bright fruit flavours and balanced by fine acidity." - Winemakers Notes
Sourced from vineyards in the hills of the classico area north east of Verona. A soft pressing followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature. Fermented in stainless steel with temperature control before maturation on lees for six months to build texture and complexity.
We've been fans of their Syrah and Chardonnay for some time and this is another go-to product we'll add to the list.
Light in colour, but plenty of depth and flavour and pleasingly dry.
Highly recommended.
I haven’t tried every bottle in this selection yet, however, so far they are all very tasty. I’m a Chardonnay lover, always on the look out for a dryish not sweet wine and these are just right for me. An excellent mixed case and we’ll priced.
This was a very nice surprise in Wine Direct’s very welcome Plenty Under $20 category. Beautifully fruity, rich and smooth. Often the Plenty Under $20 range is a little light for the depth I like but I will definitely be reordering this one.
A great summer wine… elegant and a fine balance of lighter fruit and delicate acidity with a nice dry finish. Very drinkable with or without food. A nice change from our usual unoaked French Chardonnay
