"A scintillating whiff of smokiness runs through this rich and refined 2021 Mosel GG. Breathtaking interplay of pink grapefruit freshness and peachy ripeness to which a staggering vitality adds an extra dimension. Very compact and mineral finish. Very limited production. Drinkable now, but best from 2024."

The sundial vineyard of the municipality of Zeltingen is located directly at the end of the village and borders on the Wehlener sundial. The location is oriented to the southwest and directly towards the Moselle. The floor is made of slate. The vines are between 110 and 160 meters above sea level.
In 1842 the Wehlener winemaker Jodocus Prüm erected a sundial in the neighboring vineyard slopes of Wehlen and Zeltingen in order to offer the residents a time orientation. The wines produced here were called "Wehlener and Zeltinger" (local wines).
