"It was a marvellous year in McLaren Vale with wines even at the lower price point showing remarkably vibrant and flavoursome characters. This is generous but in the medium body zone with plump black and slightly blue fruits. The palate is plush and seamlessly smooth, cascading a wave of delicious fruit through to a pleasing finish."

The vineyards for the Jester Shiraz are located at the southern end of McLaren Vale where the combination of cool sea breezes and heavy clay soils provide ideal growing conditions for the production of intensely flavoured shiraz. This is a typically full flavoured and elegant shiraz, with dark fruit flavors of plum and blackberry, complemented by dark chocolate, licorice and white pepper spice.
