Golden yellow. Effervescent bubbles. Floral and brioche aromas on the nose. Nice balance between fat and freshness on the palate.
Rough Sam is a generous person and entirely devoted to his vines. He takes his time to mature his wine in the half-light of the underground tuffeau galleries and offer a cuvée full of freshness and vitality.
Red fruits, spice and slightly gamey, smokey flavour. Tannins add a bit of structure but still soft. Finish is tart red fruit. Lots of flavour but won't overwhelm most meals. Great with aged cheeses.
