"Bright, even, pale straw yellow. The nose is soft, with aromas of orchard fruit, citrus and subtle creamy lees elements. Medium-bodied, aromas of apple and lemon melded with crunchy minerals lining a chalky mouthfeel, unfolding delicate spice and creamy hints. There is a tight line of acid tension drives a linear, persistent finish. This Chardonnay is linear, focused and mineral-driven."
- Raymond Chan Wine Reviews
The Chardonnay expresses itself wonderfully, offering fresh and well balanced wines with aromas of white fruits, hawthorn and acacia notes. The beautiful minerality on the palate reveals a racy and elegant wine.
The Chardonnay grape variety, originating from Burgundy but cultivated in the Jura since the 10th Century, has become a native of the region. Its great adaptability makes it the most prominent grape variety today, especially on limestone and light soils.
ABV: 12.5%
This is a great example of a crisp, dry chardonnay, priced way below anything from Burgundy. Wonderful value for money.
A lovely wine -great Value
Light and dry. Finish a bit short. Very different from my usual fuller flavored Chards. Pleasant change. Reflects its terroir
