"Astonishingly ripe peachy aromas for this challenging vintage are married to remarkable richness and an electric vibrancy. Bowls you over as it charges off into the far distance. As impressive as this is now, just wait what it will do with a few more years of bottle maturation! Limited production. Drink or hold."

This steep slate slope of around 9 hectares, which could be classified as the best location in Kesten, is directly adjacent to the Brauneberger Juffer and was formerly the sole property of the Paulinshof. With a slight south-southeast orientation, it has a favorable position in relation to the sun. There are racy wines that thrive here, rich in minerals and a fine-spicy acidity. The deep and slightly loamy clay slate weathered soil stores the heat of the sun during the day and thus creates an ideal microclimate for the Riesling.
