Meili Vodka is a joint venture between Jason Momoa and fashion designer Blake Halvorson, and one that has apparently been in the works for over seven years.
Meili (MAY-lee, roughly translating to 'beautiful' or 'loved one') is a grain-based, single distillation spirit, distilled using water sourced from a 300-million-year-old aquifer that feeds into natural springs in Montana. Their bottles are made "perfectly imperfect" using 100% recycled material repurposed from vast mountains of broken, discarded glass, meaning that every bottle is unique and no two will look the same.
Mineral-rich and savoury, with an oat-laced style that’s ultra-smooth and designed to be enjoyed neat or over ice, or fits in perfectly to a Vodka Martini or Mule recipe.
Super ripe very smooth dry red, with just a hint of Cherries in that Italian style and You are able to drink this wine with or without food, Very good value at $20.
We've been fans of their Syrah and Chardonnay for some time and this is another go-to product we'll add to the list.
Light in colour, but plenty of depth and flavour and pleasingly dry.
Highly recommended.
I haven’t tried every bottle in this selection yet, however, so far they are all very tasty. I’m a Chardonnay lover, always on the look out for a dryish not sweet wine and these are just right for me. An excellent mixed case and we’ll priced.
