Hernö Old Tom Gin 500ml

Hernö Old Tom Gin is made with the same botanicals as the standard, but with extra meadowsweet to impart extra sweetness. This is then heightened with the addition of touches of honey and sugar before bottling.

Try this in a Basil Smash:

• 45ml Hernö Old Tom Gin
• 1 bunch basil leaves (more than you think!)
• 25ml fresh lemon juice
• 15ml simple syrup - like Crawley's Cocktail Simple

Place basil leaves and lemon juice in a shaker, gently muddle and top of with the rest of the ingredients. Shake vigorously and double strain into an ice-filled glass. Garnish with a couple of basil leaves.
