"The grapes are a mix of Domaine and purchased from Pataille’s father, vinified with 80% whole bunches. I tasted the 2020 from tank and from foudre. Rich deep centre, offering much more weight of fruit than the Bourgogne. This is full racy and exciting with a beautiful glossy dark fruit that is still red rather than black. Excellent length. The foudre version has plumper fruit on the nose, more rounded on the palate though with the whole bunch more evident. Tasted: November 2021."

"2.4 hectares worth of vines – the youngest from about 1980. An easy but silky and clean nose. Good structure, nice impact vibrant and concentrated finishing. Very good."

"Aged in larger foudre/cask, not barrique. 2020 vintage cask sample. Mid cherry red; ripe red fruit and quite flush; rich and flavourful – gourmand (greedy!)."
