BarSol Pisco Puro | Quebranta is distilled and bottled in one of the oldest distilleries in the ICA valley, and produced from the wine resulting from the fermentation of 100% Quebranta grapes from the Ica Valley. Adhering to the classic pisco pot distillation method used for centuries in Peru, BarSol Puro Quebranta is crafted in small batches and distilled to bottle proof; neither water nor any other ingredients are added, thereby creating an exceptional spirit of exquisite purity, clarity and smoothness.
Tasting Notes : Highly awarded for its superior taste, BarSol Puro boasts subtle aromas and flavors of hay, banana, bakers pastry and ripe dark berry fruit balanced with delicate citrus notes, apricot blossom with pecan and dark chocolate notes, that evolve into a seductively long and elegant finish. Definitely, a connoisseurs delight!! BarSol Puro is the Perfect Pisco to make the best pisco sour!
This is very good value for money. A Piedmont red under $30! It has good dark fruit, some nice tannins and acid to balance although it would benefit from some more age to smooth it a bit but I liked its feistiness now.
I was happily surprised by the quality of the labels in the "mystery" case of rose wines - great value for the money I must say. Excellent drinking experience from the unfamiliar labels and happy to enjoy again the familiar ones.
