93 POINTS: Wine Enthusiast
"This wine is lively, concentrated, hues of cherry garnet with aromas of ripe Black cherry, huckleberry, grilled orange slices, mulled spices and floral on the nose. The flavors on the palate are juicy Bing cherry, red currant compote, raspberry, pink grapefruit zest layered with key lime cream, vanilla, Bay leaf and a long silky finish." - Wine Enthusiast
Clusters from High Valley deliver bright red fruit and tannin, fruit from Red Hills contributes lush, ripe fruit character, and their Big Valley grapes add complexity and texture to this Cabernet Sauvignon.
We've been fans of their Syrah and Chardonnay for some time and this is another go-to product we'll add to the list.
Light in colour, but plenty of depth and flavour and pleasingly dry.
Highly recommended.
I haven’t tried every bottle in this selection yet, however, so far they are all very tasty. I’m a Chardonnay lover, always on the look out for a dryish not sweet wine and these are just right for me. An excellent mixed case and we’ll priced.
This was a very nice surprise in Wine Direct’s very welcome Plenty Under $20 category. Beautifully fruity, rich and smooth. Often the Plenty Under $20 range is a little light for the depth I like but I will definitely be reordering this one.
A great summer wine… elegant and a fine balance of lighter fruit and delicate acidity with a nice dry finish. Very drinkable with or without food. A nice change from our usual unoaked French Chardonnay
