The CVCB Doppio Passo Organic Primitivo Puglia reveals an incredibly fruity taste on the tongue, which is of course also due to its residual sweetness. On the tongue, this balanced Doppio Passo is characterized by an incredibly dense and velvety texture. Thanks to its moderate fruit acidity, it has a soft mouthfeel without lacking any juicy liveliness. On the finish, this youthful wine from the Apulia wine-growing region impresses with its considerable length. There are again hints of black cherry and blackberry.

The Doppio Passo brand is a tribute to Carlo and Maria Botter who, together, founded the company in 1928 Primitivo arrived in Puglia in the C18th via the Dalmatian coast of Croatia. In the early C19th, it was introduced to the United States, under the name Zinfandel earning a reputation as the American 'national grape'.
