"This is elegantly scented on the nose with ripe nectarine, Nashi pear, lemon peel, and oatmeal nuances, leading to a beautifully layered palate offering saline texture and vibrant acidity. Harmonious and lingering with a lengthy, sleek finish. At its best: now to 2028."

"Green pear, papaya, apricot, almond meal, green herbs and fennel. It’s juicy and fleshy, quite a lot of flavour here, but also a little waxy and gluey. There’s some fine powdery grip, a little bitterness and a finish of solid length. It’s a good wine."Sourced from a single vineyard high above the Tagliamento river and hand harvested in the early morning to retain natural acidity. Whole bunched pressed, aiming to limit skin contact and using only free run and first press juice. Fermented in stainless steel with temperature control before maturation on lees for six months to build texture and complexity."

2022 delivered a much warmer year than preceding vintages. The wine was dry and was followed by a very hot and dry summer, where limited rain fell. However, some heavy rain events in August revived many vines, and led to average yiels with good quality fruit.
