Kerner is a native white wine produced with Kerner grapes born in Germany in the 1930s from a cross between Schiava and Riesling. This vine is at ease on sunny alluvial slopes located at high altitudes, between 600 and 950 m above sea level, where it ripens late acquiring body and intense aromas. The bouquet is broad, fresh and intense, characterized by spicy and fruity notes. In the mouth it shows all its aromaticity that goes well with the notes of peach and apricot and the right acidity.

“This gorgeous Kerner is a wonderfully aromatic and intense indigenous white wine, which acquires wonderful aromas from its high slopes. Fresh, intense & spicy aromatics with a light note of nutmeg, peach and apricot. On the palate, this is superbly balanced with racy acidity. Dry med-full-bodied and very lively, it's so spicy with the hint of nutmeg & peach very appealing. Loads of character and great elegance. Try with light appetizers, egg or mushroom dishes, fish and seafood, herb, leek and lemon risotto, & of course, excellent as an aperitif!”

“Bright straw yellow with light reflections. Ripe cantaloupe melon and stewed peaches on the nose, followed by a subtle spiciness of white pepper. Juicy, racy on the palate, balanced acidity structure, slightly sweet core, long-lasting and somewhat warming. Soloist and food companion.”
