Candied citrus fruits and peaches on the nose, mineral notes that are still closed. Very concentrated on the palate, intense peaches, some apricots, extremely elegant acidity, mineral nuances on the palate, then also dried fruit and honey, great persistence and depth, constantly gaining in complexity with aeration, beguiling, still completely undeveloped, great length.
A great summer wine… elegant and a fine balance of lighter fruit and delicate acidity with a nice dry finish. Very drinkable with or without food. A nice change from our usual unoaked French Chardonnay
It is a great wine to drink. Always great to taste a fabulous chardonnay. Hope you can bring the Domaine Collotte Chardonnay. It will sell like very well in New Zealand. Please advise when it is available.
For this sort of money you could buy a decent NZ chard....but this wine transcends you to a small village to the east of the Rhone on a balmy summers night...once you have been there you will want to go back again and again
