Domaine Philippe Colin Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Chaumées Clos Saint-Abdon 2021

Les Chaumées vineyard is located at the edge of Chassagne-Montrachet, bordering Saint-Aubin. It is the highest positioned vineyard directly above the Premier Cru Les Vergers, Les Chenevottes. Clos Saint-Abdon refers to this big patch of land that used to be surrounded by a wall, inside Les Chaumées. Shallow soils have a higher limestone content than clay, imparting a bracing minerality. The largest portion is 50+ years old.
