Classic blend of 70% Corvina 25% Rondinella 5% Molinara.
“An elegant and restrained Valpolicello with fresh aromas of vibrant dark fruit, earth and balsamic. Medium-bodied, it shows refined tannins, density and a refreshing finish with dark chocolate flavors. Drink or hold.”
- James Suckling
“This was a standout vintage in Valpolicella, prizing dark and exuberant fruit flavours. The 2021 Campofiorin is made with the double-fermentation method, or ripasso, that is indigenous to this area, and the wine offers both fresh fruit aromas of blackberry and cherry as well as dried fruit aromas at the back. The blend is 70% Corvina, 25% Rondinella and 5% Molinara. Campofiorin offers a unique blend of tradition, quality, and versatility, a wine that you can knock over tonight or happily leave in the cellar for a few years”
In 1964, Masi revolutionized winemaking by pioneering the ‘Super Venetian’—a bold new style inspired by the traditional Amarone technique, harnessing double fermentation to amplify intensity and complexity. The result is a wine that effortlessly marries elegance and simplicity with power and grandeur. Aromas of perfumed cherry, blackcurrant, and wild herbs unfold alongside delicate notes of lavender and exotic spices. On the palate, layers of concentrated cassis, dried herbs, and remarkable richness are all revelaed. While crafted for graceful aging, this wine drinks right out of the gate. Utterly delicious, an icon that is still delivering after all these years!
