"Mid cherry with soft pink rim. Pure red and dark-red fruits on the nose. Charming and intense, lightly spiced. Delicate floral note too. A wine to spend time with. Taut, juicy and relatively light on the palate. Ready now but no rush. Firm, dry yet harmonious finish." - Jancis Robinson
The Sito Moresco was created a softer and earlier drinking 'taste of the Langhe' and contains 50% Nebbiolo and 50% Barbera. Dark ruby red in the glass. On the nose of ripe black cherries, cassis notes, floral as well as spicy hints. On the palate complex structure, smooth, fruity and perfectly integrated tannins. Long lasting on the finish.
We've been fans of their Syrah and Chardonnay for some time and this is another go-to product we'll add to the list.
Light in colour, but plenty of depth and flavour and pleasingly dry.
Highly recommended.
I haven’t tried every bottle in this selection yet, however, so far they are all very tasty. I’m a Chardonnay lover, always on the look out for a dryish not sweet wine and these are just right for me. An excellent mixed case and we’ll priced.
This was a very nice surprise in Wine Direct’s very welcome Plenty Under $20 category. Beautifully fruity, rich and smooth. Often the Plenty Under $20 range is a little light for the depth I like but I will definitely be reordering this one.
A great summer wine… elegant and a fine balance of lighter fruit and delicate acidity with a nice dry finish. Very drinkable with or without food. A nice change from our usual unoaked French Chardonnay
