GOLD MEDAL: NZIWS 2025
5 STARS & 93 POINTS Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
93 POINTS: Cameron Douglas MS
93 POINTS: Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Wine Reviews
"Fresh and gorgeously aromatic, the bouquet presents notes of kiwifruit, green apple, capsicum, and lime peel. The palate is equally satisfying with excellent fruit intensity, well supported by fine texture and juicy acidity, finishing splendidly long and flavoursome. At its best: now to 2028"
- Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
"This Sauvignon Blanc is packed with tropical fruit, interweaving nettle and sweet floral on a lightly creamy palate; ripe acidity drives a crisp finish"
- Candice Chow, Wine Chat
"Classic. Pungent very bold and expressive bouquet with scents of red apple and lemon, tropical fruits, seasalt and fresh Thai basil. On the palate, salivating, crisp and dry, the core fruit flavours reflect the bouquet - passionfruit and apple, citrus peel and white spice, green mango and grapefruit. Vibrant with plenty of drive in the acidity and fruit"
- Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier
"Nice ripe nose, stonefruit, elderflower, some pea pod, fresh and bright, ok weight, fresh and bright, some nice texture and lingering fruit"
- NWWA 2025
The Eradus vines grow on a slender terrace at the edge of the Awatere River, with a unique microclimate and soil structure. Influenced by a fault line, a river, and the power of the nearby Pacific Ocean, their land is stony, dry, windy and cool, elements that create wines of elegance, minerality with a lively and lingering finish. They let the untameable terroir of the Awatere Valley express itself through our vines, grapes and ultimately wines.
