92 POINTS: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler, Falstaff Recommended, Andrew Hedley
Sites at 550 – 700m, alluvial, fossil rich soils with diorite in their best site around the Sabiona monastery. Fermented in stainless steel and large format acacia, 7 months aging on fine lees until bottling.
“Bright straw yellow in colour with a green tinge. Smells of peach and green apple, then white melon and a slightly spiced note of white pepper in the aftertaste. Crisp, crystalline acidity and fine juiciness on the palate, with a long finish.” — 92 Points, Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler, Falstaff
