Domaine Gerard Tremblay Chablis 2023

Domaine Gerard Tremblay Chablis 2023

95 POINTS: Wine Direct Tasting Team

This is a rarity among wines in today's climate - a Burgundian white that is not over-priced and is worth every penny of the entry fee. This is a delicious, complex and refreshing wine, what we call a ripper!

With a palate that is as clean as a whistle, this wine is surprisingly generous with a juicy and fleshy palate weight, complex flavours of fresh orchard fruits with red and green apple, delicate blossom, lime and flinty mineral notes & classic Chablis "Oyster Shells" aromas. It is simply delicious.

“This wine is crafted from 100% Chardonnay grapes, sourced from vineyards with brown Kimmeridgian soil over hard limestone at altitudes between 230-280 meters. Shows pure fresh white fleshed orchard fruit (white peach) exhibiting great mineral purity with notes of white peach and lime blossom, leading to a generous mineral laden palate. Moreish, a super example of village Chablis – Bravo!”
