Castillo de Aresan Garnacha Tinta 2023

This generous wine from the heart of Spain offers immediate juicy appeal alongside an excellent savoury component that brings depth and interest. The interplay between brightness and structure makes it engaging from the first sip and rewarding right through the finish.

This wine is produced by combining two methods. Part of the grapes is harvested mechanically at night and fermented in stainless steel tanks, while another part is hand-picked and undergoes a special process called carbonic maceration. Light-bodied with pronounced fruity aromas of blackberry, black currant, raspberry, blueberry, and wild strawberry. Pairs beautifully with red meat, cheeses, and spiced dishes.

In the heart of La Mancha, in the fields of Villarrobledo, is Castillo de Aresán, a wine complex that began its activity in the 80s along with the first vine plantations in the region. From there, different varieties were planted, the field was expanded and it was decided to build a winery within the same estate, in the heart of the vineyards. Its construction began at the end of 1999. After the success of the first harvests and driven by its passion for wine, Castillo de Aresán has established itself as a benchmark company in the region. Castillo de Aresán has benefited from organic and vegan certifications since the 2018 harvest.
