"Casali del Barone Piemonte DOC Barbera 2024 is a rich, generous Piedmont red that delivers plenty of flavour for the money. Bursting with aromas of roasted plum, dark cherry and warm spice, the palate is smooth and full-bodied with layers of ripe berry fruit, dark chocolate, coffee bean and a hint of cinnamon. A touch of oak adds roundness and depth, while Barbera’s natural freshness keeps everything lively and balanced through to the soft, spicy finish."

Made from a blend of 85% Barbera and 15% Nebbiolo this red wine comes from the home of Barolo in the Piedmont region of Italy. 

Intense ruby red color and floral scents together with slightly matured red fruit nuances. In the mouth, it is full-bodied and round, with a soft aftertaste of dark chocolate due to the natural sugar level of about 6g. Persistent and with a slightly spicy aftertaste.

150+1 is reference to the collaboration between head winemaker Daniele Ress and the 150 members of the Vallebelbo cooperative where this wine is made. The Casali del Barone range showcases some of the most typical wines from the Piemonte Area at prices that don't break the bank.
