 "The Vouvray Classic 2023 has great purity of expression, with prodigious ageing potential, and an excellent example of what Chenin Blanc can achieve. Complex notes of flowers, quince, lanolin, apples, and citrus are all superbly integrated."

 "The winery is in the heart of Touraine in the Loire Valley, the garden of France. 100% Chenin Blanc from vines that are 25-30 years old. The 2023 Vouvray Classic is a pretty pale yellow in the glass, the nose is complex with layers of stoned and exotic fruits. To taste it does not disappoint, it’s round and full, achieved by six months lees aging, but retains citrusy freshness. Delightful."

The wines are made in the state-of-the art winery within the landmark Château du Nozet and are considered to be some of the finest examples of their type.

Grown on the lower slopes along the Loire Valley in Vouvray and Vernou-sur-Brenne, the grapes for the Marc Brédif Vouvray enjoy northern/southern exposure. The vineyards have soils of mainly chalk clay, with some parcels having flint clay soils. The vineyards are 25-30 years old on average. The "Classic" on this label differentiates Marc Brédif's traditional Vouvray from the rest of the winery's offerings.
