The Decibel Team are working with a great husband/wife team at the Two Terraces Vineyard, they are in the process of converting their vineyard to organics and grow a very limited amount of Chenin Blanc.

This Chenin has lifted aromas of green apple, tropical esters with a lightly floral nose, with hints of candied pears. The palate has a soft approach with a rich, even spicy mid-palate. The firm acidity and relatively low pH allows the rich palate to finish with great length and freshness, despite the off-dry style. There is tension in this wine that will grow as the wine ages and the develops in bottle.

"Dry, flavoursome Chenin Blanc with green apple, tree fruit, grapefruit and a seasoning of curry-powder-like pepperiness. Assertive acidity gives the wine a crisp, drying finish. An unusual and distinctive wine. Should develop well with bottle age."
