The 2021 vintage is wonderfully expressive, revealing layers of dark cherry, blackberry and plum, interwoven with fragrant violets, cracked pepper, exotic spice and subtle savoury notes. A touch of Viognier adds aromatic lift and finesse, while beautifully integrated French oak provides texture and complexity. The palate is wonderfully composed, with concentrated yet elegant fruit, fine-grained tannins and a long, savoury finish. Refined, beautifully balanced and possessing all the hallmarks of a great Yarra Valley Shiraz, this is a wine with considerable ageing potential."
