"A magnificent expression of cool-climate Cabernet and one of Australia's most respected Bordeaux-inspired red blends. The exceptional 2021 vintage delivers wonderful depth and complexity, with an enticing bouquet of blackcurrant, cassis, dark plum and blackberry, layered with cedar, graphite, fragrant tobacco and subtle savoury herbs. The palate is beautifully structured yet remarkably refined, with concentrated dark fruit, finely woven tannins and beautifully integrated French oak. Cabernet Sauvignon provides the backbone, while Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot add richness, texture and complexity. Long, elegant and wonderfully persistent, this is a wine of real pedigree with the structure and balance to reward extended cellaring."

Few Australian wineries command the respect and admiration of Yarra Yering. Established in 1969 by the visionary Dr Bailey Carrodus, this iconic Yarra Valley estate has built an extraordinary reputation for producing some of Australia's most distinctive, age-worthy and highly acclaimed wines.

From its original vineyard plantings to its carefully selected parcels, Yarra Yering is all about quality, individuality and expressing the character of this exceptional cool-climate region. The wines are beautifully crafted, combining elegance, complexity and structure with an unmistakable sense of place.
