TOPE '100 Osmond' Riesling 2022
95 POINTS & 5 STARS: Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
94 POINTS: Wine Direct Tasting Team
93 POINTS: James Suckling
"A good Clare Riesling with textural breadth and a hint of phenolic density that mitigates the general dry austerity of the regional style. The usual array of lime twists and turns before a riff on quince, crab apples and fennel. Excellent persistence and length. Should age very well across the mid-term."
- James Suckling
The '100 Osmond' Riesling is bright and clean, with flavours of soft citrus, oyster shell saline, and green apple acidity.
"These fragrances set you up for glorious palates, which come alive with acid zing, chalky minerality, and silky textures. While the Dual Citizen has a salty, mouth-watering element to it, the 100 Osmond is a tad brighter and more elegant. You want to guzzle down the Dual Citizen while the 100 Osmond asks you to have a bit more patience. And the price? Get outta here. I was given an extra bottle of each and intend on cellaring them for at least another five to ten years, because I predict great things ahead for them still."

Tope Wines started at 100 Osmond Terrace, the house where Tom and Pete (the boys behind Tope Wines) spent long afternoons discussing the beauty and purity of Riesling. This house became a gathering place—a wine industry fraternity hangout—where friends, winemakers, and enthusiasts would come together to share stories, exchange ideas, and, of course, enjoy great wine.
The 100 Osmond label is a sketch of the house in Adeliade, a symbol of where it all began. Though years have passed, the house still stands today, a reminder of the conversations, inspirations, and dreams that helped shape this wine.
100 Osmond isn’t just a wine—it’s a story in a bottle. A reminder that the best ideas often come from great company and a shared glass of something special.
