The '100 Osmond' Riesling is bright and clean, with flavours of soft citrus, oyster shell saline, and green apple acidity. The soft citrus flavours that mimic the aroma are layered with by soft lime flavour that is carried by green apple acidity. This acidity flows long through the centre of the palate and is complimented by crisp minerality with slate flavours and chalk acidity. This characteristic is naturally occurring from the layered limestone soils of the vineyard.
Tope Wines started at 100 Osmond Terrace, the house where Tom and Pete (the boys behind Tope Wines) spent long afternoons discussing the beauty and purity of Riesling. This house became a gathering place—a wine industry fraternity hangout—where friends, winemakers, and enthusiasts would come together to share stories, exchange ideas, and, of course, enjoy great wine.
The 100 Osmond label is a sketch of the house in Adeliade, a symbol of where it all began. Though years have passed, the house still stands today, a reminder of the conversations, inspirations, and dreams that helped shape this wine.
