"Deeply scented with perfumed aromas of blackberries, violets, blood plums and dried herbs. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins and focused acidity, giving notes of raspberries, dark cherries, ferric earth and cured meat. Very well balanced and supple with a savory undertone."
- James Suckling

"A beautifully bright, spacey and detailed blend of 56/25/19% grenache/shiraz/mourvédre with a snappy minerally line, chewy, powdered granite tannins and loads of bright red berry raspberry and red plummy fruit. Spicy, too, with a gentle floral facet, gingerbread notes and a really easy-drinking vibe. I like it a lot."
- James Halliday

"Sons of Eden consistently produce well-loved, high-scoring wines."
 - Decanter Magazine

“The partnership of viticulturist Simon Cowham and winemaker Corey Ryan is turning out some stunning wines.”
 – Joe Czerwinski, Robert Parker Wine Advocate

The Kennedy is a classic blend of old vine Barossa Valley Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvedre varieties. Named as a tribute to the legendary Barossa Vigneron’s who pioneered the planting of the old treasured vineyards, which the Barossa enjoys today. The Grenache fruit is the ‘soul’ of this blend and is from an exceptionally low yielding 60+ year-old Light Pass Vineyard. Originally planted by the Kennedy Family, with ownership eventually being passed onto the charismatic Leo ‘Joe’ Kennedy who nurtured the vines for many years, selling his prized fruit to local winemakers.

Sons of Eden is one of the Barossa's brightest young wineries, committed to delivering wines with flavour and personality from vineyards throughout this famous wine region. Sons of Eden takes its name from the two partners, Winemaker Corey Ryan and Viticulturist Simon Cowham, who both learned and refined their trades in the vineyards and cellars of Eden Valley.
