"This is a very smart Chardonnay with an immediate appeal. There’s a solid fruit base, elegant oak seasoning, texture, length. Nougat, cream, fresh zippy palate, some ginger, lemon sorbet, and melon crunch. It’s ripe but has a swift, energetic flow, with a bit of warming spice and aniseed finish. Good drinkability, great value."
