Many producers compare their Chardonnay to Burgundy, but the 2012 of this local classic by the legendary Michael Brakjovich MW was blind tasted next to top Meursault and Montrachet by an international panel including Jancis Robinson MW — and was judged number one! Yes, you read correctly. Even this standard Estate Chardonnay delivers at premium world class level. But here in NZ, we already knew that. A terribly stylish wine for the table or cellar.
