"Based on 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 5% Carignan, and 5% Mourvèdre, the 2024 Côtes Du Rhône Parallèle 45 is aged for six months in stainless steel vats on fine lees. Deep purple-hued, it offers lots of blackberries, pepper, and violets that shine through beautifully. It's medium-bodied and nicely balanced, with juicy, clean, pure fruit, well-integrated acidity, and a good finish. This well-made effort represents value."

A classic since 1950, Parallèle 45 is the oldest Côtes du Rhône brand still in existence. Parallèle 45 is named after the 45th parallel, a famous circle of latitude that marks the midpoint between the equator and the North Pole. It is known as the "Latitude of Great Wines" and passes over the cellars of Paul Jaboulet Aîné.
