Inama Soave Classico DOC 2025
92 POINTS: James Suckling
93 POINTS: Wine Direct Tasting Team
91 POINTS: Wine Enthusiast
"Bright aromas of flowers, angelica and apricots with an undertone of sulphur smoke. Silky attack, light to medium body and graceful, refreshing acidity. Drink now."
- James Suckling
"The wine is bright and lively and the lime-and-grapefruit mid palate has both zip and a little roundness. A little grassy in a way that makes it the most perfect wine for baby broad bean, pea, edamame or asparagus dishes. Textbook."
- Jancis Robinson MW 16/20
The walled city of Soave in the Veneto region is the source (and namesake) of one of the great classic Italian white wines. The town dates from Roman times, and so does the winemaking tradition. The Garganega grapes, which for many centuries have produced Soave wines, come mainly from vineyards in the hills that rise behind the town and march northwestward toward the eastern Valpolicella. This area is now known as Soave Classico and remains the source of the denomination's best wines due to the hills’ volcanic soils.
Inama is one of the family producers helping redefine what Soave can be. Based in Veneto, near Verona, the winery has spent decades demonstrating that Soave is capable of producing distinctive, terroir-driven white wines rather than simply inexpensive, uncomplicated Italian whites.
