Edetària’s vineyards are planted in five different terroirs. “Panal” fossilised sand dunes soils from Quaternary period. “Tapàs” silty soils with clay materials. “Tapàs blanc” shallow soils with marl carbonated fragments. “Còdols” old river bed with surface pebbles. “Vall” fertile, lime, deep soils.
“I’m a little embarrassed at how many of these I’ve opened at home. At this price it’s compelling.”

“Some baked plums, dried strawberries, licorice, walnuts and mossy red berries. Balsamic, too. Quite bright and juicy, with more wild berries and licorice on the palate with a hint of Coca-Cola. Very refined tannins here. 100% garnatxa peluda, or hairy garnacha. Drink now.”

"This wine is made exclusively from Garnacha Peluda grapes coming from some of Edetària’s oldest vines, which were planted by our grandfather, with a production of only 1200 bottles. Garnatxa Peluda is a unique grape perfectly adapted to Mediterranean hot dry summer, thanks to its velvety leaves, making wines with outstanding freshness and genuineness. Aromas display a series of red fruit and forest berries, together with Mediterranean herbs and a balsamic ending. The palate shows endless fleshy red fruit, along with a nice broad texture and a wild touch, it finishes long and elegant."
