A red blend of 75% Grenache and 25% Syrah organically grown in sandy light soils at the limit of the slopes of Sablet in Rhone Valley.

There may be no better "all purpose" red on the planet, a classic 'bistro' red that tastes like a $40 wine! Lovely aromatics, tons of cherry and red plums with a touch of the classic Cote du Rhone wild herb & red liquorice. Soft and round in the mouth, with lovely freshness that makes it so drinkable.  Love this!"

Belonging to the Lambert family since 1935, the Domaine des Pasquiers, with its 87 hectares, extends over several appellations including IGP Vaucluse, Côtes du Rhône, Côtes du Rhône villages Plan de Dieu, Côtes du Rhône villages Sablet and Gigondas. The barrier of the Dentelles de Montmirail brings freshness to the vines and the berries can reach an optimal maturity. The clay soils are covered with the stony scree that comes down from the Dentelles and thus bring minerality to the wines.
