"Upfront and richly expressed, showing dark berry, olive, smoked meat and roasted nut aromas, leading to a wonderfully weighted palate that's supple and flavoursome. Splendidly structured, finishing long and attractively robust. At its best: now to 2030. " - Sam Kim, Wine Orbit (Previous Vintage)
Domaine de la Baume in the Languedoc-Roussillon region is situated in Servian, between Béziers and the medieval town of Pézenas, at the centre of the world’s largest wine-growing area. In this haven of peace and quiet, one road leads to the magnificent wrought-iron gate adorned with a J and a P, in honour of Jean Prat. Domaine de la Baume is an estate of some 176 hectares, planted with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier and of course, Chardonnay.
A great summer wine… elegant and a fine balance of lighter fruit and delicate acidity with a nice dry finish. Very drinkable with or without food. A nice change from our usual unoaked French Chardonnay
It is a great wine to drink. Always great to taste a fabulous chardonnay. Hope you can bring the Domaine Collotte Chardonnay. It will sell like very well in New Zealand. Please advise when it is available.

An exceptional wine, It lived up to the ratings, and was all of the flavours you mentioned in your promo.
Very good value for the price.
For this sort of money you could buy a decent NZ chard....but this wine transcends you to a small village to the east of the Rhone on a balmy summers night...once you have been there you will want to go back again and again
