“Deep ruby red color. On the nose the 2022 Promis has a lively potpourri of spices, dark and fleshy fruit, cherries, blackberries and tar. On the palate it has firm tannins, a wonderful full fruit and a wide persistence, intensity and depth.”

“The Promis is a great example of Angelo's innovative approach as it is made with fruit from Bolgheri near the Tuscan coast in a "Super Tuscan" style - using international grape varieties. The blend is composed mainly of Merlot with a smaller proportion of Syrah and Sangiovese which thrive in the local brown earths or dark soils and on hot summer days cooled by sea breezes. The result is a rich, voluptuous red wine bursting with dark berry and plum notes and subtle spicy notes from the 12 months of aging in oak barrels.”
