"Deep amber with copper and mahogany tones. The nose is wonderfully expressive, offering toffee, dried fig, raisins, toasted hazelnuts and pecans, alongside orange peel, polished oak and hints of leather. The palate is dry, rich and rounded, with layers of roasted nuts, caramel, dried fruit, dark chocolate and a subtle bitter edge. There is plenty of warmth and texture, but enough freshness to keep it balanced, finishing long, dry and savoury."

This is one of the more intriguing wines in the Gutiérrez Colosía range — a historic Oloroso with a story stretching back to the old Bodegas Cuvillo of El Puerto de Santa María. When Cuvillo disappeared in the early 1980s, Gutiérrez Colosía acquired the famous Sangre y Trabajadero solera, along with around 300 casks, preserving both the wine and its distinctive historic label.

Made from 100% Palomino and aged oxidatively, it is a dry, full-bodied Oloroso with an average age reported at around 7–12 years.
