"The young red 2023 Colección de Viñedos is their village wine from Ábalos from four (very) old plots at some 550 meters above sea level with a breakdown of approximately 80% Tempranillo and 10% each Garnacha and white Viura. The destemmed but uncrushed grapes (a change since 2022) fermented in stainless steel vats, and the wine matured with equal parts in concrete and 500-liter French oak barrels for 11 months. It's an honest red, with a serious and somewhat austere profile but still approachable, young and fruit-driven, produced with very good grapes. It has good ripeness, 14.36% alcohol, keeping a pH of 3.48 and 5.9 grams of acidity, a tender palate with very fine tannins and clean, focused flavors and a chalky, dry finish."

Coleccion’ is an assemblage of old bush vines from three parcelas, Peña Caída, Centenales y los Trepados, planted to Tempranillo with 10% each of Garnacha and Viura. These are field blends grown at just below 600m, yielding 4 tonnes/ha, ‘aged’ in raw concrete and 500L French oak casks for six months. Unfined.
