"If you ever wondered why James Bond drank the wines from this famous Mosel vineyard site, then here is the answer. At once exotic and cool, this quickly wraps you around its little finger. Graceful and silky with the balance of delicate grape sweetness and elegant slatey acidity. Drink or hold."

The Piesporter Goldtropfchen vineyard lies like a huge amphitheatre in the outer loop of the Moselle, which flows around Piesport. In its orientation, it stretches from southeast to south to southwest. The vineyard gets a lot of sun and the east and west slopes protect the opposite side from the wind. With a slope of 30 to 70 percent, their vineyards are extremely steep - they rise from 120 to 200 meters above sea level. The soils consist of deep, strongly weathered, dark Devonian slate, which is interspersed with quartz and minerals and warms up slightly.
