From Mount Etna in Sicily, this seductive and perfumed red is made from one of the region's native grape varieties, Nerello Mascalese. Grown on volcanic soils, the wine displays a medium ruby colour and gives up enticing red fruit notes of cherries and strawberries and just a hint of raspberry coulis. It's all beautifully balanced with refreshing acidity and stony minerality. A wine that is light on its feet but doesn't lack flavour and personality. A must-try for lovers of elegant, Pinot Noir-like reds.
"The purity of fruit is so impressive here with black cherry and dried strawberry to the ash and black-tea undertones. It’s medium to full body with firm, tight tannins and a crisp finish. Floral and some citrus-zest highlights to this. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold."
— 94 Points, James Suckling
"Loaded with finesse, this lovely red has aromas of sun-warmed flint, camphor, Mediterranean herb and woodland berry. Savory and mineral-driven, the elegant is both lithely structured, featuring strawberry compote, pomegranate, star anise and savory saline notes alongside taut, fine-grained tannins."

"A lively red that dances across the palate, with juicy wild cherry and strawberry fruit, light, fine tannins and fragrant accents of tea leaves, violet, graphite and spices. Drink now through 2028."
— Wine Spectator
"This saline, floral entry-level Etna Rosso is always a great buy."
