"The...Eduard Old Vine Shiraz is primarily from dry-grown Shiraz planted in 1905, although it includes some fruit from 1960s and '70s plantings. It offers intense concentration, mulberry and meaty notes carried on a full-bodied, creamy-textured palate and a long finish. This wine does a terrific job combining rich fruit and savory, umami notes with a strong sense of freshness. It looks capable of aging gracefully over two decades."
