"A simmering nose of juicy strawberries, crunchy raspberries and vibrant plums. Youthful and expressive with stylish chiselled tannins, a refreshing acidity and a lovely pure finish."
- Decanter Magazine

We've kept this one a secret for a while...a 95 /100 Côtes du Rhône Villages from officially one of the most beautiful villages in all of France. Situated between Gigondas and Rasteau, Séguret is the gateway to the Dentelles de Montmirail foothills resulting in a cooler climate rarely found in the Southern Rhône. Syrah is king here and Domaine de L'Amandine make some of the best around - including the Syrah dominant Côtes du Rhône Villages Séguret 2021.

We rarely get offered this wine (last vintage we could get was 2015!) so when it comes around we snap it up. Domaine de L'Amandine are true Seguret pioneers. Indeed in 1967 Jean-Pierre Verdeau and his father represented Séguret at the meeting to create the “Côtes du Rhône Villages” appellation. Half a century later, his granddaughter Mathilde was elected co-president of the Syndicate of Séguret winegrowers in 2020. They're basically top dog!

Séguret translates as 'secure' in Provençal so with only 300 bottles available make sure you 'Séguret' your allocation!
