With a creamy mousse and fine effervescence, heightened aromatics define this wine. The nose is fresh, subtly floral and biscuity, with expressions of nougat and almond. The palate shows pronounced red fruit characters with hints of brioche, candied almonds, apples and peach. The structure of this firm and juicy Champagne is supported by its creamy mouthfeel. A background yeastiness rounds out the fruit nicely, and works harmoniously with the fresh, cleansing acidity on the finish. Stellar Champagne for the price.
