To create the exceptional taste of Collier and McKeel Tennessee Whiskey, the distillers at this historic distillery first bring limestone filtered water from their family farm to make a mash of corn, rye and malted barley; then into the hand-hammered copper pot still. The fine spirit then becomes Tennessee Whiskey after being drip fed through several feet of sugar maple charcoal. It is this step which gives Collier and McKeel is smooth, sweet, smoky taste that it is known for.
Aged in uniquely small barrels to impart a stronger oak aged flavour, this whiskey is only bottled when it tastes just right.
