It is already one of the most popular products being sold at the distillery amongst all consumers young and old. Based on a 5 year old rum and flavoured with natural plum extract and sugar, this is one easy drinking, highly enjoyable liqueur. Pure luscious aromas of ripe plums and spiced molasses coupled with delicious notes of spiced oak, toffee and ripe tropical fruit gives way to a long, spun sugar finish. The perfect dessert rum, or to use in a Mai Tai Swizzle:

• 30ml Beenleigh Rum Liqueur
• 15ml orange liqueur or curacao, such as Pierre Ferrand Dry Curacao
• 30ml grapefruit juice
• 10ml Orgeat/almond syrup - we like Monin Orgeat Syrup
• 10ml Pernod
• 2-3 dashes of Angostura bitters
• Ice

Pack ice into a glass. Add rum, triple sec/curacao, grapefruit juice, and orgeat. Swizzle to mix. Sprinkle bitters and Pernod on top, and garnish.
