Château Marojallia, Margaux 2018
94 POINTS: Antonio Galloni, Vinous
93 POINTS: Jeb Dunnuck
"An estate that readers should unquestionably have on their radar, the 2018 Château Marojallia checks in as 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot that was brought up in one-third new French oak. A deep purple/ruby color is followed by impressive, powerful cassis and kirsch-like fruits as well as spicy oak, violets, spice, and new leather aromas and flavors. Medium to full-bodied, this beautifully balanced, elegant Margaux has ripe tannins, no hard edges, and a complex, classic style. It will drink nicely for at least two decades."

"The 2018 Marojallia is a beautiful wine. I especially admire a sense of energy that has at times been lacking. Ripe red berry fruit, blood orange, mint, spice and espresso are beautifully delineated throughout. The 2018 captures plenty of the natural richness of the year, but also retains terrific energy. This blossoms so nicely with a bit of air."
