Vallformosa is a family-owned winery, now managed by the fifth generation of the Domènech family. It was established in 1865 in Vilobí del Penedès, southwest of Barcelona in the heart of the Cava D.O. appellation of Spain. The family name first appeared in local history as far back as the 10th Century. Made from the traditional Cava grape varieties of Macabeo, Xarel-lo and Parellada.
"Lime, green apple and yeast notes define the nose. This is plump and fleshy in feel, with peach, nectarine and apple flavors. That's also how the finish rolls out. All in all, this is juicy, straightforward and well constituted." - Wine Enthusiast
I have enjoyed these wines very much - in particular I liked the Belle Vignes which was rich and very flavoursome
The Cabra Cega was a particularly easy drinking quaffing wine.
Still have another 2 bottles left to sample

Great
Great selection, great taste, great value, fast delivery
Quality is consistent. Deeper bouquet and flavor than most Cali Zins. The Earth tones come thru beautifully about two years from Vintage. Wonderful
Red to contemplate on its own or with good food.
